Jesse to Osama

This is just too funny. Here's Dan Rather on MSNBC the other day, explaining Jesse Jackson's impact on U.S. politics:

Yes, Rather said Jackson "was an important figure in paving the way for an Osama bin Laden [not Barack Obama] to appear." And no one on the set corrected that verbal snafu.
Rather was also in on what may have been the lamest political observation of the weekend, as a guest on NBC's The Chris Matthews Show. The ever-so-shrewd Matthews had this to say of John McCain's campaign team: "Now it looks like they want to win."
Gee, Chris, ya figure?
