Two years have passed since I started this blog. I believe the time has come to wind it down. Starting now, posts here will be less frequent and then cease altogether in a couple of months.
My traffic numbers simply don't justify the time I spend on this blog. I must instead focus on improving my income, which has been rather scant of late.
For the few who do give a darn about this blog, I'll say that I'm not leaving the blogosphere. I'm setting up a much more low-maintenance blog that will serve as a repository or gallery for some of my published work, and I'll still visit blogs and contribute to Mad Mike's America.
In short, this is both an end and a beginning.

I was ceasing my operation and going "full time" with MadMike myself Stimpson. Just don't post your stuff too close to mine. I hate looking bad.
I just hope you guys do not get the MADMIKE virus of "support the mission, support the president". LOL.
I am very sorry to learn this, Stimpson. I have enjoyed getting a taste of Canadian politics as well as getting a clear-eyed perspective on our own here in the States from my very observant neighbor/friend to the north. I'll look for you at MadMike's. I hope your income situation will improve dramatically and that before too long you will resurrect this blog fully once more. I understand how you feel totally. I have done the same. I don't have an internet connection or CTV in my house. . . it was too distracting. Now I check out thing in cyber space two or three times a week and that's it.
I now do some of the constructive things I did before the internet and cable TV started distracting me from life.
