I am 'condescending'

Somebody didn't like my book review. Apparently, I was "condescending," I "trivialized" the vegetarian perspective, and I portrayed vegetarians as "a big scary mob ... beating down carnivores with carrot sticks."
I like that last phrase.
Oh well. To quote Kingsley Amis: "If you can't annoy someone, there's little point in writing."
