A pop classic: Wildflower by Skylark

My review of Hitman might lead one to believe I don't like David Foster's music. Well, that's not really true.
Yes, he has produced some pretty dull stuff. But then again, he was behind the boards for Whitney Houston's classic recording of I Will Always Love You, and he produced Natalie Cole's Unforgettable. Awesome stuff.
It's less well-known that he was in a band called Skylark, which had a hit in 1973 with Wildflower.
In the band's appearance on Midnight Special, you can see a skinny Foster playing keyboards while force-of-nature Donny Gerrard delivers the song's beautiful lyrics (written by a Vancouver cop!). Foster's first wife, amply pregnant at the time, is on backing vocals.
