Another thing about coffee: It's good for you.
It lowers your risk of diabetes and colon cancer, according to some medical researchers.
Then again, caffeine raises blood pressure.
What to do, what to do ...
Oh, I know.
I'll have another cup.

Like we really needed another reason to rationalize our next refill, it appears coffee may also reverse some of the effects of Alzheimer's disease.

And chocolate has healthful properties. I guess that makes chocolate-covered espresso beans health food. Especially if the chocolate is dark chocolate. :-)
My mother put coffee and a spoonful of sugar in my bottle when I was a wee babe. She taught me to smoke cigarettes at five. I smoked and mixed cocktails when her friends came to play bridge. I was a big hit. I'm still smoking and drinking coffee with a lot of milk and a spoonful of sugar. Early lessons take. The brain forms on those drugs and it's nearly impossible to break that brain lock. I've had heigh blood pressure since 19 (the genetic kind) and I'm 65 now. Coffee and nicotine are good for bipolar disorder, both have antidepressant qualities. Probably dark chocolate too.
And when I lived in Italy I got the Sambuca and dark chocolate covered coffee beans habit. I kicked that habit. But I never gave up the espresso.
Thanks for visiting me at my place.
Well, thanks for posting something about Joni at your place, US. And thanks for dropping by.
Never post - even a comment - before that first cup of java. That's my rule, and it has served me well!
Dark chocolate contains more antioxidants than any other food—something I learned when I took nutrition.
This coffee addict loves this post. Coffee is good for you. Drink a cup before a workout, and you won't have any worries about high blood pressure. Now, I'm going to drink another LARGE cup.
Thanks for this post Stimpson and hi, Dearest Utah. Oooooo dark chocolate covered coffee beans. The healthy alternative.
Thanks for dropping by, Stella. And thanks to all for turning such a slight post into a fun discussion.
