The heart of the matter
Carson McCullers wrote a book called The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. Well, I imagine the heart is a lousy hunter. It can't sneak up on anything, and it can't pull a trigger. Or look through a scope. The lack of limbs and eyes would make it a lousy hunter.

Dick Cheney is proven to be a lousy shot. That would seem to confirm that he does have a heart as well as confirm Stimpson's theory.
