A weak deal and more dishonour -- that's about all Canadian officials are bringing home from Copenhagen.
The PM said Canada is "very comfortable" with the slight pact that was hammered out, and reiterated that future Canadian measures "will be closely co-ordinated with those in the United States."
Environmental groups named my country the Colossal Fossil, 2009's Fossil of the Year. And I reckon the 'award' is well-deserved.
I'd like to say I'm disappointed, but what more could I expect from a government headed by a guy who railed against "the job-killing, economy-destroying Kyoto Accord" and said it was "based on tentative and contradictory scientific evidence"?
